Create separate page for Authors who are editing or writing news, Google not give importance to news written by one author, as google give more important when there is team of author who frequently write various article, I know you will ask what if only one person write news, practically there is no need to mention you can write news you own with different name.

if you want to attract google news attention add at least 3 new news article to your website.
